Your doctor has recommended that you undergo a Vasectomy. But what exactly does that mean?
Vasectomy is a surgical procedure that serves as birth control by permanently cutting off the flow of sperm to the penis.
In adult males, sperm is continually produced in the testicles, or testis.
Both testicles are contained in the scrotum – a pouch of loose skin that hangs outside the body, below the penis.
Medical Malpractice
Young sperm mature and are stored in the epididymis, a small structure at the rear of each testicle.
When the male experiences sexual climax, a pair of muscular tubes called the vas deferens transport sperm away from the epididymis.
As the sperm moves towards the penis, it enters the seminal vesicle where it mixes with the seminal secretions.
Medical Malpractice
These are the fluids that make up the major component of the semen that finally reaches the penis and is ejaculated.
The Vasectomy procedure prevents sperm cells from reaching the seminal vesicle by cutting both vas deferens near the testicles.
Medical Malpractice
But because the procedure does not interfere with the production of semen in the seminal vesicle, men who undergo a successful vasectomy are still able to – though their semen will no longer contain sperm cells.
So make sure that you ask your doctor to carefully explain the reasons behind this recommendation.

Don’t do it. My husband has had many side effects since having the procedure 8 years ago. None of which he was warned about.
That sounds great, …
That sounds great, but once you end up with this type of pain, you’ll feel like your life is not worth living anymore. People should know about the risk. It isn’t even that rare to end up with pain.
Don’t ever get one. …
Don’t ever get one. I had one done in ‘04 and the douche bag I was married to (she talked me into getting it) ran off with some guy 4 months later. Don’t do it!!!!

It is very rare for …
It is very rare for a man to suffer from PVP Syndrome. If its not broke dont fix it? What kind of logic is that? Its a quick, painless and less invasive procedure. Or dangerous for that matter. A women having to undergo a histerectomy or tube litigation has to have major surgery, with weeks of pain and healing. A man can take 15 minutes out of his day and be better in the morning. Its a cheaper, easier and wiser procedure in the world of we are getting too old to have an more children.
Which one did you …
Which one did you get? Was it the conventional or the no scalpel?

my vasectomy went good no problems.. and I am not suffering, get a better doctor man..
Many men experience …
Many men experience chronic pain after their vasectomy, and THAT is not reversible. If you decide to have a vasectomy, be prepared to suffer for the rest of your life. Vasectomy is actually medical malpractice in itself, for no one is warned about the danger of Post-Vasectomy Pain Syndrome. If it’s not broken, don’t fix it. At this point in time the procedure is still too risky.
