    This Video Was Helpful i have seizure Epilepsy it great that people put video out there to help someone when there having a seizure. You Know I do’nt like when some people put video of them having a seizure but there faking it and they think it funny but it really not funny well great tips

    I always bite up my tongue during a seizure. I have no idea WHEN, perhaps when coming out of it. Still, NEVER put something inside my mouth!

    I hate when they ask me if I remember having a seizure. I never do. The only thing I remember is a strange sensation all over my body right before it happens along with extrasensory input.
    After that I don’t remember anything until I wake up.

    I would have to agree. Epilepsy can be extremely “life altering.” By this I mean the fact that some victims have to take medication daily for the rest of their lives. Epilepsy in my opinion, is a burden. Just like diabetes for example.

    during episode of seizure…victims teeth usually don’t bite to cut or injured their tongue.Often times their teeth & jaw are locked up steady either open,semi-open or closed,”NO BITING”. No need to worry on putting anything inside the mouth,just follow the video & procedures,”SIDE LYING” position for recovery after seizure & if there’s frothing coming out from mouth to drain the fluids & to avoid aspiration.Just protect the head with cushion,don’t hold the victim’s arms & legs while in seizure.
