Are there any websites/online doctors that you can e-mail or contact for some medical advice?

I have a medical question regarding warts on hands, but I don’t want to go to a doctor for it. Are there any free virus-free websites or online doctors that can give the answers to my questions?

Your help would be very much appreciated, thank you.

A doctor can only give you advice in person or via a Physicians Assistant or Nurse, then they relay that info to them. There is no true way of diagnosing a condition (relaibly) over the web. They have to see you physically and monitor other symptoms you may not be aware of, such as speech pattern, breathing rhythm, eye movement, skin condition, posture, and other signs not really visible over the net.

WebMD and other sites are educational but by no means a way of being diagnosed and taken care of properly. Especially if there is an underlying or dangerous cause to that disease.

Trust me. I too was suckered in the past with these Web doctors.

  1. a good doctor is not going to give your advice or a cure over emails.. they can only give you a general idea of what to do..

the best thing to do is go to a doctor, even if you don’t want to..

  3. The medical ethical & legal ramifications of MDs (and others) giving diagnoses and advice on line are huge, and no health professional that is worth their weight in salt will do this. You can get general info from WebMD or just by googling warts. There are over the counter remedies as well. But why do you not want to be seen? There are inexpensive walk in clinics.

  4. The medical environment holds a rich vein of different jobs from the obvious nurse and doctor jobs to adminstrative jobs. My sister wanted to work in this area, but she wasn’t sure exactly what she wanted to do. She found the site in the resource box below, it has lots of tips, and it aided her to decide what she wanted to do. They have help with other jobs too.
