The interactive portfolio of User Interface Design GmbH (www.uid.com) wins the Microsoft “Touch First Developer Challenge”. Microsoft awards the prize to the interactive portfolio for being the most innovative application for the multi-touch Surface table.
The application developed by UID was presented at the Professional Developers Conference (PCD09).
The UID Portfolio is an interactive company presentation introducing the company team, competences, and reference projects in an intuitive and innovative way. This application is used at exhibitions and for customer dialogues. Not only does it enable potential customers to get information on the services of UID, but it allows them to actually experience UID. As we are specialized in designing, testing and developing intuitive, innovative, and attractive user interfaces, this claim is reflected in our own presentation.
The goal of the application is to present:
- customers und reference projects
- the four phases of the User Centered Design (UCD): analyze, design, build and evaluate
- the six industries in which UID is active: Automotive, Consumer, Enterprise, Industry, Medical and Web
- contact information
- utilized methods with their descriptions

The UID Portfolio responds to the users needs and provides quick and easy information on UID projects, methods, industries, and contact persons.
The interaction features allow the user to be optimally integrated and to directly experience UID.
