How can I get Google to elimanate personal information about me from the Google site?

I belong to a couple of Health realated sites where some personal information about my medical condition exists.
When I typed in my name on Google my name came up along with the medical sites to which I belonged. Now anyone can find out my personal information which I had hoped would stay within the original site to which I belonged. What can I do to get this information off of Google? Who do I contact? Any web addresses available?.

You can’t ask Google to unindex a page with your personal details; you’ll have to contact the owner/admin of that page and ask them to remove you from the page; once he/she removes you, the next time their site gets crawled by google robots and gets reindexed; your info won’t be there. Right now you come up as a keyword because you exist on that site as a keyword; if the sites removes you, google bots will scan the site again and reindex without you in it as a searchable keyword.

Unfortunately I don’t think that is possible, the site you are on should have more protection, keeping names private etc. Perhaps if it is something you don’t want others to know about, you could use a different name.

hey. i kinda have the same problem too. i want to remove personal info from yahoo answers that i don’t want anybody to know.

I am doubting that information is actually on Google’s site. They just catalogue the information so the search engine can access it and supply a link.

You probably cannot get it removed.

Now for the preaching —
DO NOT post ANYTHING to the web ANYWHERE that you do not want the entire world to see. Even supposed "private" sites can be seen.
