I want to get on the job training to become a Medical Biller.
If I like the work I’d be willing to go for full training on my dime if needed.

Do companies that provide Medical Billing Services hire part timers?
Is this something I can do from home?

I know I’ll learn the job quickly and will be a dedicated employee.
Including jobs that put me through college I’ve been working for over 20 years and during that time was out of work for less than 2 months. Been at my current job for over 10.
If I don’t try there is no way that someone is going to hire me. It’s not like they are going to come knocking on my door.

Most if not all medical billing is done on computers. Anything that’s done exclusively on a computer can be done from home.

My sister in law does this from home. She now owns her own business. She got in touch with several doctors in the area and charged lesser fees than they would have paid another company and got their business. They were so happy with her service they suggested her to others within their group and other practices. She had to hire two people, both of whom work from their homes.
I would take the classes you need and try that avenue if you want to work from home. It did take her years to build it to what it is now, though. Good luck.
