I have a 15 yr. old daughter whom lives w/her mom, and I just found out her mother had her admitted to a home for teens. She never contacted me about this and I found out by the grandma 2 wks after the fact. She refuses to give me the " code" so the facility will give me info. on my child and refuses to tell me anything about her. I have written my child several times and stay in contact best as i can but our court papers clearly state all non-emergency medical decisions are joint. Also the non-custodial bill of rights for our state clearly states that the custodial parent is to contact the non-custodial parent no less than 24hrs. for all non-emergency medical care and treatment. I can’t get the facitlity even with a written request for my childs medical records per the bill of rights, to tell me anything about my child or her condition. What can I do? I really want to know how my child is and what is going on but find myself yet again stopped by my ex wives hate and anger towards me.
