I filled out a recruiting form on Navy.com today. How long should it take for a recruiter to contact me?
I was interested in working in the medical technology lab.

Congratulations on your decision to fill out a recruiting form. The Navy will jump on the opportunity to get you signed up very quickly. I would caution you to be really careful and really know what you you’re signing up for. First, the military life is very difficult – you move around a lot, it is hard on families. It’s also difficult to find your niche while you’re in the military because once you are assigned your "rate" or job, it’s very difficult to switch to something else. And contrary to what the recruiters may tell you (be aware that their job is to get as many people signed up so they’ll tell you what you want to hear), where you get sent to is not all your call; they’ll send people where they need them, they’ll try to send you where you want to go but it doesn’t always work the way you want. The rewards are, of course, that you’ll be serving your country. If you have already exhausted all your options as far as careers go, then by all means go ahead and sign up. I just hate for people to sign up and be miserable for 4 years – the minimum enlistment period. Make sure you’ve consulted a career advisor – you can find them in junior colleges, universities, etc. I would also recommend you read "What Color is Your Parachute". This is a very good book for people looking to start a career. It walks you through things to think about before you make any career mis-steps. Best of luck.
