Air National Guard Recruiter lying?
I had to fill out a medical form for a physical and my recruiter had said that I did not need to put down that I had a cyst removed from my tailbone over 10 years ago. After I filled it out, I came home and started googling about what could happen. I found out about the possible prison and fines that could occur. I decided then to contact the recruiter again and say that I was not comfortable with this and it was unethical of her to do this. She then told me that my name would have to be taken off the job I was going for. What can be done about this? I have left a voice mail with a commander out here at the base. Any other advice would be greatly appreciated.
I served 20 and would not worry about a cyst that was removed 10 years ago. Your up and walking, aren’t you. Best of luck to you.

She shouldn’t have told you to lie, but no one ever gets in trouble for enlisting. No one goes to jail, no one gets fined. You just get disqualified. You really made a mountain out of a molehill. Yeah, she was wrong, but you’re kinda being a baby and a dick. You should have faced her like a man and said you wanted to be ethical and that you would go get the medical records from ten years ago. Now go find your medical records from ten years ago. They are going to want to see the pathology report saying that the removed cyst was benign. If you can’t find those med records with the pathology report, you will not be eligible to enlist. Have fun.
