Doing something productive this summer?

I just finished 9th grade, going into 10th
I’ve been on summer vacation for about 3 weeks now.
I feel like I’m not doing anything productive…I’ve been trying to contact medical centers/universities to see if I could participate in some science internships…but all the deadlines are over.

I’ve pretty much been reading books the whole summer. At the end of the summer, I don’t want to feel like I didn’t do anything. The next couple of years are extremely crucial & I want to be able to accomplish something and be able to add on to my resume.

Any suggestions?

Maybe you should hang with friends and if not you could read books in a public place people might stop and talk to you!
